Why are our rates so much cheaper than our Major Competitors?

That's because we do it the old fashioned way. Our Major Competitors acquire rooms, airfare, and car rental prices by working directly with the Franchise, and not the individual properties

For example, when the rates at Daysinn.com, for the Days Inn International Drive Orlando are $49.00, the Major Travel Companies rates are either $49.00 or more. These travel companies are directly connected to these hotels reservation systems.

You may be wondering how this gives Majorresorts.com an advantage? First, we are not connected in any way, shape, or form to the franchise reservation system. Majorresorts has a sales force of over 1,000 agents whose daily job is to go door to door and negotiate room rates. They get a 12 month calendar out and the owners/managers a lot rooms and rates for the entire year. So what? How about this, when a convention comes in town or a unexpected event, our rates do not go up. But, since our Major Competitors rates are connected directly to that hotels reservation system, their rates instantly go up.

Another major advantage our Travel Company has over Major Internet Travel Companies, is that we can never be shut out. When the Days Inn on International Drive starts sensing a good weekend, they have the ability to shut their reservation system down. This means ALL Major Travel Companies are blocked out from renting rooms there. Why? That’s because they are directly connected to their reservation system. What about us? We are not, our rooms are negotiated months in advance the hotels MUST honor our rates.
